First, ensure the subtitles are saved in an editable format such as TXT, ODT, HTML, or DOCX. If they’re not, you can easily convert them using a free online service. Alternatively, check with the video creator if they offer their subtitles in an editable format.
Once you have the desired subtitles in an editable format, select “Add subtitles” from the translation drop-down menu. Click “Browse” and select the desired subtitles file, then click “Upload”. If you’re adding subtitles to a live stream, select “Add subtitles to live stream” instead. That’s it! The video will automatically display in the desired language.
As we’ve discussed, you can add subtitles to a live stream and video, but you may wonder how to make the video display in the desired language. Easy! Select “Display this subtitle language” from the translation drop-down menu. Click “Select Language” to choose the desired language, then click “OK”. That’s it!
